November 29 at the Novosibirsk International Exhibition Complex Novosibirsk Expocentre. The III Siberian Ecological and Industrial Forum SibEkoProm was held. The forum was organized by the International Association of Lake Regions. The main objectives of the forum are to discuss current environmental issues and their solutions, which can subsequently have a positive impact on the state of the environment in Russian regions. The main topic of discussion by the forum participants at the SibEcoProm-2018 plenary session was "Four Elements of the National Ecology Project". The event was attended by representatives of federal and regional authorities, science, business, federal agencies, representatives of large industrial companies, experts and public figures.

The following issues were discussed on discussion platforms during the forum:

"Formation of a unified structure for the protection of forests of the Russian Federation";
"Application of NDT in the development of the mineral resource base of Siberia";
"Readiness of the regions of the Siberian Federal District to launch a MSW management system in 2019";
"Protection of water resources and water bodies from pollution at the meeting of the Basin Council in the BVU";
"The formation of a culture of volunteerism as a natural part of the life of Russians."
